Still is a 30-day programme for people getting off vapes and nicotine pouches. This policy is short because the app does very little with your data, and everything below is a description of how it is actually built rather than a statement of intent.
Still has no accounts, no sign-in, no email field and no server. Nothing you enter is transmitted to us, because there is nowhere for it to be transmitted to. We do not know who you are, we cannot identify your device, and we have no way to read what you record.
Everything the app stores — your answers to the opening questions, every moment you log, every use of the craving tool, every slip, and the dates of all of it — is written to a database on your own device and stays there.
Still contains no analytics SDK, no advertising identifier, no crash reporter that transmits automatically and no third-party tracking of any kind.
The app keeps a plain list on your device of which screens you reached — for example, that a paywall was shown or that a lesson was opened. This local diagnostic list is not transmitted to us or to any third party.
The purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We never see your name, your payment details or your billing address. Apple tells us only how many purchases occurred, in aggregate, and whether a given installation is entitled to paid content. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
If you turn notifications on, they are scheduled on your device by your device. Their wording never mentions nicotine, vaping, pouches, cravings or quitting, so a notification appearing on a lock screen in front of another person does not disclose what the app is for. No notification content is generated by, or sent from, a server.
Still is not directed at children and is rated for adults. We do not knowingly hold data about anyone, including children, because we do not hold data about anyone at all.
Regulations such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to access, correct, export and delete personal data held about you. In our case there is nothing to exercise those rights against, because we hold no personal data. Deleting the app removes every record; no request to us is needed and none would have any effect.
Still provides behavioural support and general information. It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or a qualified health professional. If you are managing a medical condition, are pregnant, or are using nicotine replacement therapy or prescription medication, speak to a clinician about stopping.
If this policy ever changes in a way that affects what leaves your device, the change will be described in the app before it takes effect, and it will not be applied retroactively to anything already recorded.
